its great. i dont like audiobooks, but tolkiens stuff works really well when read aloud and one of the common problems people run into with a first reading of the silmarillion is that they get bogged down trying to memorize every name and detail instead of just reading and enjoying it. the format of an audiobook kinda pushes you along and helps prevent that.
